Routing Number On Check
Routing numbers are used by banks and other financial institutions (within the United States and North America) as a way to identify and track electronic account transfers between two or more banks. A bank’s routing number is always found on its check, in the lower left-hand corner (as seen below).
How to Wire Funds
Domestic – Senders can obtain more information about initiating a wire transfer by calling the bank’s customer service line, or by going to a branch location. The following information (at the minimum) is required in order to successfully complete a wire transfer between two (or more) accounts:
- First name
- Last name
- Street Address
- Bank Account Number
- Bank Routing Number
- Receiving bank account number (if applicable)
- Receiving bank routing number (if applicable)
